Are you getting Ripped Off!!!

I have lived a life of utter laziness and deference to the sharks and crooks of the world.  Because I believed that the world is inherently good I had a tendency to allow companies and individuals to take advantage of my golden rules.  Recently I have started looking at bills and receipts closely. I also keep a close eye at the supermarket and checks while out dining.  You wouldn't believe how much money I have saved in simple mistakes in the last 6 months of taking notice.   I want to extend an invitation to educate oneself by directing all who don't want to pay for clerical mistakes and corporate thievery to a website I stumbled on to this morning!!!!

http://consumerist.com/ Please take a moment and read some of the stories.  There are topics on cell phone companies, ebay scams, terrible wrong doings to average consumers and ways to prevent and even recoup your hard earned dollars.   It used to be a running a joke in an old rock band I was in.....but now it seems more appropriate than ever ......I leave you with a quote from J.G. Wentworth commercials  " It's your money use it when you want to"  .............And not when you don't!!!!!  thats a quote from The Dan Bird Band to you!!!!
